After being approved as a workstation of the "Overseas Talent Program" by the Changsha Association for Science and Technology in 2018, recently, through independent application, recommendation by the industrial park and grassroots units, preliminary review by the Changsha Association for Science and Technology, evaluation by the review panel, and approval by the Changsha Municipal People's Government, the Changsha Association for Science and Technology publicized the list of Changsha expert workstations in 2024. The expert workstation of Hunan Qankorey Biotechnology Co.,Ltd was approved to be established.
The Changsha Expert Workstation is an innovative working platform established to thoroughly implement the innovation-driven development strategy, further promote the flexible introduction of high-level scientific and technological experts and high-end intellectual resources by enterprises to gather in Changsha, and support collaborative innovation among industries, universities and research institutes.
This time, the expert workstation of Qankorey has invited Professor Chen Jing, Deputy Director and Office Director of the National Clinical Research Center for Geriatric Diseases at Huashan Hospital affiliated with Fudan University, and Professor Lei Peng from the State Key Laboratory of Biotherapy at Sichuan University to jointly conduct research on the detection products for Alzheimer's disease (AD) and the research and development of innovative drugs. It is expected to invest 40 million yuan. The main tasks are to screen and study new early detection markers for Alzheimer's disease, as well as to carry out the research and transformation of new quantitative detection products for Alzheimer's disease and conduct clinical research and testing.
